In Control Panel, Sound devices shows only the internal speakers and headphone socket. Win 7 device manager says the driver is working properly.

Now the Focusrite device is not recognised by Windows 10. After nearly a month of tinkering, I finally got the right input/output settings for my FL Studio Let's Learn setup working What seemed like almost an acc. Hi I am trying to install a FocusRite Scarlet 2i2 USB ASIO driver - without success - the programs supplied by FocusRite (Apleton 9 Lite) also cannot see the driver while another ASIO 3rd party driver ASIO4ALL installed easily and is found by Apleton 9 Lite as well as other DAW editors). OTOH, I could be completely wrong about all this. I used to be able to play music from my Soundlogic keyboard, using True Pianos and Reaper, through a Focusrite 2i2 interface. But as soon as I close Sound Forge the driver comes back on in Reaper. I know that the standard advice for the "order of downloading/installing/connecting" these type of devices is: download and install the drivers before connecting the interface, since Windows is likely to automatically install generic USB drivers which, in the case of such relatively specialised hardware as an audio interface, may well be completely inappropriate.Ĭould that be the cause of the problem here? If so, I think you may well need to uninstall both the ASIO and default drivers (the latter should be possible via Device Manager, Uninstall Driver, the former will, hopefully include an uninstaller). I notice you say you " Plugged in Focusrite, downloaded ASIO drivers from their website and restarted computer".
